2022 Grant Update

Grant applications will open on May 1, 2022.

Details on the 2022 Grant Program will be announced at the Grant Kickoff Reception on Tuesday, April 26, 5pm in the Harbor Room at Diamond Jo Casino.

If you have applied for a grant in the past 3 years, you will receive an email with additional details. If you're new to the grant program, please email us at info@dradubuque.com to be added to the email list.

Grant Distributions

Nonprofit organizations that meet eligibility requirements as outlined below are encouraged to submit a grant application. The DRA considers each unique application on a case-by-case basis, with the overall goal of people attraction, including population growth, retention and tourism.

Eligibility Requirements

Eligible applicants shall be organizations exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), 501(c)(5), 501(c)(6), 501(c)(7), 501(c)(8), 501(c)(10) or 501(c)(19) issued by the Internal Revenue Service. Organizations are not allowed to "share" or "borrow" a 501 status with another organization, the name on the application must match the name on the IRS-issued letter. Only one application per 501(c) or equivalent tax-exempt status will be accepted.
